Audit Committee
Performs an annual financial audit of the IRA.

Communications & Programming Committee
Enhances and strengthens the visibility of the IRA through complete and accurate messaging. Enhances members' and the public's understanding of recycling and solid waste issues through communication channels including, but not limited to, monthly newsletters, social media, print materials and press releases.
Plans and develops programs, events and services that add value to membership and advance the goals of the IRA.

Organics Recycling Committee
Oversees the Iowa State Chapter of the U.S. Composting Council to advance organic recycling education, advocacy, and development of Iowa's compost industry.
