Registration is now open for K-12 to participate in Keep America Beautiful’s Recycle-Bowl Competition
Recycle-Bowl is an excellent way for teachers, student green teams and facility managers to engage their school community in a fun and friendly way while promoting waste reduction and recycling. The competition dates are October 15-November 9…an excellent way to promote and celebrate America Recycles Day!

Join members of the Keep America Beautiful Communications Department for a webinar about social media basics. We will start at the very beginning with how to set up YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter accounts, and discuss things you should consider before you start interacting through social media. The program will also include an introduction to key concepts and strategies for best utilizing YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. By the end of the webinar you will know how to create a video response on YouTube, the etiquette of a retweet, the definition of a hashtag, what it means to “tag” and “like” on Facebook, and more. We will also go over examples of social media campaigns by KAB and different ways to engage your fans and followers through social media.
